Scratch Level 2 - Racing Game

1. I had trouble dealing with the controls of the cars, when i press W both cars accelerate, how i fixed it is i made another variable called speed1 and replaced (speed) on the script. 2. Changes i added on the game that differs from the tutorials are. the game can played for 2 players, and the car changes it's look when it crashes. I added these changes because it makes the game a bit more interesting to the players and it adds a bit of touch into the game which makes it more nice.I made the game 2 player so that they/you can verse your friends in the game and it's more fun playing with your friends. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/187988004/#editor

Kodu Pac-Man

Image
Game screenshots: 1. My game is similar to the original Pac-Man because:  -Has "Ghosts" on it (Kodu)  -Has Power Pills, except. The power pill doesn't make "Pac-Man" (cycle) able to eat the       ghosts, but instead the "pac-man" becomes camouflage.   -The game has timer 2. The only change i did to my game is add timer. And about the power-up. 3. The only thing i had issues with is about the power pill, not being able to be un-camouflage'd. 4. 5. Be more creative with the map.

Video Games: The Movie

What are some of the reasons video games were successful? What makes a game popular? There are few reasons why video games were successful and what makes them popular. I would say the reasons would be the play style of the game, the story of the game, the graphics of the game, and more. If the community likes the game and spreads some love about it, as they hear more things going on about that certain game, then more and more people would try the game and it would make it popular. At least that's what i think. What are some of the reasons why the video game industry crashed in the 1980s? Back in the 1980s a huge video game industry crash happened. Why? because before video game companies were really successful which sold out a lot of game consoles and games, Atari being on of the biggest company to be made. However, many people were complaining about playing the same thing over and over again, and at the same time people started to get bored. In return many companies s...

Game screenshot BOT 1 Code BOT 2 Code Kodu Code The only issue I encountered is when I didn't know how to end the game when I already scored 5 points, although thankfully the website was updated about a solution to it. Rhys didn't have additional suggestions.

HOW I DID IT: First thing i did was remove the "no image" at the second image by, using the magic wand tool and delete them. And i just removed the background by cropping the chibi out of the original picture and put the chibi unto a second page without background. Second thing is putting the first image into the page layout i was working on as my header. I put the image at the top and put the third image in. By putting the first image into the top of the third image on the layers, i was able to erase away some excess from the first image that i wanted to be removed. Final thing is I used the brush tool to draw kind of light round circles from the third image i used. TEXT:  I wrote down my blog title "AUSSEH" with the font Calisto MT. I did then put it below the Octane Picture(first image), and neatly tried to centre it. Then I went into the blending option by right clicking the text from the layers section. Put some shadows, messed with the inner light of ...

Game Designer Skills

Skills that probably suits me. Games:              Playing games (video games to be precise) has been my habit since I was a kid, I was always and will always be passionate and be enthusiastic about games. I've been introduced into the gaming world by my brother back then, He would show me how to install, download, and play games correctly. I have played a bunch of different games and different genres, for example: MMO RPGs, FPS shooter, Racing, Mobas, Platform based games, and a lot more. Prior to these games I've played I think i know some basics on what makes a good game and what makes a bad game. Often times it would be the Plot/Story of a game, Physics of the game, Details of the game, Game play, and most of all if you enjoy the game most. But I am still learning new things about gaming/games and I learn a lot every so often. Due to these gaming experiences I think I have the essential skills needed for game designing....
